Living in the streets as an adult is not at all enjoyable in the least.
The search for a breast to control either the freezing death or starvation is the most severe, but it is the most essential, and each creature has to go through all of that.
Sadly, that is what the golden girl of today’s story has to endure.
Survival Mode
A lost Golden Retriever was seen rambling the village streets in the hope of finding something to eat.
When she eventually looked successfully for a piece of bread, she was holding it in her mouth and was still looking for a good spot to have a snack.

A dog lover named Ayberk Ayar captured a photo of this sweet little dog eating a piece of bread with her paw. They found it sweet as well as heartwarming, so she decided to share it on her Instagram feed.
Ayberk questioned the locals on the how and why of the pup and how it ended up in that place. Knew that the dog was left without concern and was found on the streets for two weeks, without proper care.
Tracy Behnke, RWB intake director, who is working at Rescuers Without Borders based in Goldsmith, Texas, recognized the scenario and decided to do something about it.
“We knew that she would end up hungry to death or being beaten up seriously. It recently dawned on me that, much as golden retrievers are great dogs, they simply can’t fight as effectively as the other bigger dogs. I was just taken with her and I thought, ‘We have to do something for her’,” said Tracy.
Rescue Mission
The team at Rescuers Without Borders requested two of the volunteers to go out and capture the pup to get him off the streets. By the time the volunteers reached the place where the dog was last spotted, the dog was nowhere in sight.
They went around searching for her, and people were claiming that there was a man with a golden who was using a car to shoot her.
When the volunteers heard this, they quickly knew something worse was going to happen. They thought the man intended to sell her for breeding since they believed that was his motive.

With this in mind, the rescuers decided that they tried to the best of their ability and search for this poor pup.
They went around asking other members of the villagers and managed to know where she was, which was like in a dilapidated shed.
There was no light and no bars on the window, and she never had anything to eat or drink.
A kind volunteer was able to bring the poor dog into the clinic further and take the Golden Retriever, now known as Harper, out in her arms.
They found that the minute Harper entered the car to be rescued, she felt secure and realized she was out of danger, thus becoming relieved once again.
They said she was so sweet. She was giving kisses, which was rather odd behavior for a canine. She pretty well understood she was going to safety again.
New Life
Harper left for foster care as the RWB’s team looked for means that would enable the girl to travel to the USA in the shortest time possible.
At the end of the day, all went well, and once Harper completed her medicals and paperwork, she was on a flight heading to San Francisco.

Tracy and her husband drove to the airport to meet Harper. The moment the two crossed paths, both the humans and the one-lengthed canine fell squarely for the other.
She’s a sweetheart. People who have met her until now are all surprised at how gentle a dog that came from that environment can be.
Sadly, however, the street life in Harper surfaced and she was very shy and reluctant to accept food.
Tracy had to give her food, and she seems to hesitate a little, like she wasn’t even sure she can.
They helped her feed her because the child would not take anything into her mouth on her own. This was as though she was telling herself I do not wish to be punished for this or that.
The poor girl managed to be placed in a foster care home in Washington state and it eventually took her some time before she could adapt to the comforts of warm shelter.
She started opening up, and the next thing she was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is all great’. She was playing and running like life depended on it.
In a few more hours, days, and weeks, this golden girl shall get the best home ever where she will not remember what was done to her and live the best life she deserves.
